Holiday World retires Raging Rapids
Holiday World just announced that they have permanently retired their rapids ride. There's been rumors of construction around the old Pilgrim's Plunge site as well. It'll be interesting to see what the next few years bring us.
Great update, it's close enough to the Plunge area that it could be used for a larger ride. Maybe the next coaster? It's been a while since Thunderbird.
They really are due for a new coaster so I'm hoping that's what it is. I could easily see an out and back design going over the employee parking lot. It's also possible that there are 2 different projects currently in progress....... or maybe nothing (but I suspect they've got at least something up their sleeve).
Agreed, there's definitely something since the Plunge concrete has been untouched for years until recently.
That's a great idea, hope they can do that.
