I wish there were more 2D apps
The whole "Spatial Computing" thing now being popularized by Apple makes me hope that maybe some Android devs start submitting their flat apps to the Quest. Not everything has to be immersive 3D experiences.
Just let me put my streaming movie/music app off to the side while I sit in my chair at a hotel please.
Probably the only way we’ll get a decent amount of apps is if google and meta figure out a deal. But even if we had all the flat apps, I don’t think it would actually be super useful. The Quest window management is just not up to the task yet. But I’d still love to try it.
