That seems fair. Stroll rejoined like it was bumper cars and fucked Gasly's race.

I think +5 seconds was too lenient. They need to bring back stop-go penalties.

F1 penalises based on the infraction, and not the outcome.

Maybe it's time for FIA to look into further categorising "Causing a collision"

Any ideas?

It was 100% payback from Stroll imho for Gasly pushing him off. He came into the track knowing full well he was going to push Gasly off or worse.

Doesn't matter. Penalty points don't lead to anything anyway. It's almost as if they're designed to be just a gesture.

Correct me if I'm wrong.. Accumulated penalty points wouldresult in loss of super license?

I believe it's 'only' a one-race ban when you go over the limit of 12 points; not sure whether there are some more severe penalties for repeat offenders.

It's a single race ban and the points expire after 12 months, not even 12 or so races, meaning summer and winter breaks pretty much guarantee that nobody ever gets penalized.

There are 22 races this season, somebody should tell him he is going to earn a race ban at this rate. But Im personally betting Papa Stroll doesnt let that ban happen at all. Lance basically got a light tap on the hand with a paper fan for destroying somebody elses race.
