Major League Rugby Championship Game Attendance Record broken!!!
Huge for the league. Doesn't hurt that it was an amazing tightly contested game.

Does anyone else find it weird that so many articles about the championship have a photo of Sad Nonu instead of New England players holding the shield?
We'll have to meme it now.
I wish the article said what the previous record was. Looks like it was 7300+ at the 2021 final. Huge success for the league I think. Has TV viewership been estimated?
Idk I will have to check and see if I can find the #s
According to Sports Media Watch, the final had 269,000 viewers on Fox!
How does that compare to last year’s championship?
Not entirely sure how to read this site, but I think it's saying 281k viewers in 2022. But when you also consider 8k more people watched it live vs televised, I think that's not such a bad drop in the TV viewership.

What's the mlmym.org thing?
Idk guess I messed up the @ lol
Oh it's the old.reddit interface somebody posted about. I don't see it in my inbox, so that means the post federated properly on it's own!
