YSK that you can change default sorting types in Lemmy's settings
I was getting annoyed that the default view is always local posts with Active, and found out that you can change the defaults in the settings! Just don't forget to hit save like I did.

Wow, thanks for the tip. The default sorting should really be hot rather than active.
Hot and active seem pretty similar to me right now as far as what I see with Local selected
My instance seems to override "All" with "Local"
Same here actually. Probably a bug that will get sorted soon.
yeah i've noticed the same with mine, must be a problem will all lemmy instances right now
Could you add the text "Why YSK:" to the body of the post? It's rule #2. :)
Does anyone know the difference between the sorting types?
