Similarly, In the divine comedy, predatory loan sharks are in the seventh circle of hell with the “sodomites” in the area designated as “sins of violence against god”. Interestingly, Dante the character seems rather chill about the “sodomites” when he talks with them.

It's been my experience that the devout cherry-pick from the bible to find material that supports their personal world view. Since the bible is constantly contradicting itself, this is wholly possible.

What was the crime of Sodom and Gomorrah? According to my rabbi (and supported by the writings and prophets), it was making charity illegal. The punishment for breaking said crime was gang raping the receiver of said charity. Only rich people were allowed in the cities, you see, with the idea that this would make the cities stronger. Drive out the weak and undesirable was the idea.

There is no such thing as "traditional Christian theology". This highly depends on denomination.

A major change between the churches you claimed were practically the same is not relevant?

That original church splitting into two for theological (at least as a pretext) reasons is not relevant?

That's without even considering that actual Christian history did not necessarily happen as the church says it did and early Christianity was far more localized and diverse.

The schism between Catholic and Orthodox churches is extremely relevant for anyone claiming either side is the definitive “church of Peter” as you did.

Why wouldn’t it be?

There is no such thing as “traditional Christian theology”

There IS however, biblical theology, repeating the same statement 3 times making a statement "fact" and such,
