Pacman Hooks
I have never used pacman hooks before. But i wonder, if they are also executed, when i use pamac. Is this the case?

Answering my own question: yes it does. So I discovered some hooks, which report pacnew files and replaced the echo command with
notify-send. Worked fine so far...
