I made my first birdie!
First birdie ever after (embarrassingly enough) 6 months of playing. It was on the first hole too so it was all downhill from there but I’m still over the moon about it :)

Thanks, that makes me feel a little better! The thing is I was talking to my coworker about golf the day before and she was perplexed that I hadn’t made a birdie yet so I guess I was feeling inadequate 😅

Congrats, got my first a few days ago on the last hole of my compact course.
It’s a nice feeling to finally sink one, isn’t it?
I’ve made a handful of pars now and I still get PUMPED about them. I finished my round out with two in a row the other day and you’d think I won the lottery!
