Finding my old car
Back in college, I had to sell my 02 WRX because I couldn't afford to fix it. I had that car for ~10 years and love(d) it.
I want to see if I can find the current owner to make an offer on it, but I'm not sure the best way to go about it. I sold it back in 2016 so it's been quite a while.
Does anyone know any specific forums or threads for this purpose? I still have the license plate memorized.
Do you happen to have the VIN? That might make it easier to search.

There are some sites where you can see a car’s history. You can maybe try Carfax and see what it pulls up with the VIN. There might be some location info there that can help narrow down your search. There should be some paid options out there as well but not sure if they’re accurate or legit.
