New opening is great! I'm hoping that the stand-off between Ichigo and Uryu in the opening is a hint that we'll get an expanded scene between them this cour.

Seemed like there was a bit of anime-only stuff, I don't recall that training for Ichigo being shown in the anime.

Animation looks fantastic, no surprise. This was mostly a set-up episode, so I'm hyped for the fight scenes to come!
