Any recommendations for a bike about $1100k in US?

I'm looking to finally step up from an old 2011 GT Avalanche 2.0.

Looking at Specialized Fuze or Norco HT 2.

Trails around here are pretty rough and mountainous, so ideally would like one that would be capable on narrow and rough single track downhills but not be tiresome on long climbs.
