This might be a stupid question but how do I post an image in Memmy? Does I have to host the image and then link? I can’t seem to see how I can access my camera roll?

The camera icon is there, but seems to do nothing for me.

You have to tap the camera icon.
If it's not there it might depend on the instance/community you're posting in?
If you tap the camera icon it uploads the image to imgur and provides a url, most times I just host the image myself elsewhere and post the link

Hm that’s odd, I’m on the latest TF version and it opens the photos app when clicked
Deleting the app and reinstalling seems to have fixed it.
When in doubt the on off approach seems to always pull through lmao
I suspect it was permissions. I don’t recall Lemmy ever asking for access to my photos previously but yeah all seems ok now.
