When your opponent has the right argument, the only way to combat them is to pick apart the most inconsequential tidbits and extrapolate/misrepresent them.
It wasn't the right argument is the issue. Like only the last thing he ever said was directly saying CPC.
Like if thats what we wanted to find out we clearly got the wrong person to ask it.
The US doesn't recognize Singapore as sovereign? Membership in the CPC is conditional on being a Chinese citizen.

I thought I was going crazy, but no this exact guy had almost this exact same conversation with almost the exact same people back in March of last year.
This wasn't just ignorance, this was willful ignorance.
I hate this. We already have problems with the local government constantly painting any attempt at progressivism as a western import etc. This is just going to add fuel to the flame.
