Moving to Oakville
Hey folks, wife and I are moving to Oakville soon, near Bronte Harbour. Only somewhat familiar with the area.
Wondering if any locals have any recommendations for food, stuff to check out, anything and everything really.

The Moonshine Cafe at Kerr and Rebecca is the place to go for music.
Kori’s Roti is still pretty awesome.
Kerr St has the best restaurants, at least when I was there. A lot of them made it through the pandemic I believe. I haven’t lived in the area for a few years but I try to visit regularly.
Bronte is a lovely area with great restaurants generally (Plank Restobar is good) but also check out downtown Oakville along Lakeshore. A few local restaurants we’ve quite liked are JAC Bistro (admittedly in Kerr Village, but still good), Piano Piano (which also has locations in Toronto), and Seasons Restaurant.
Do NOT go to Paradiso - it was really disappointing.
