More like ground into a paste, extruded into a cylinder shape, and served as an ultra-processed puck of meat, bones, fat, and preservatives.

Hey I like some crunch. But overall i don't eat peanut butter that much as it's full of sugar.

True facts. Also, whole peanuts are even healthier than peanut butter, aside from the fact that I like crunch, that little bit less processed is why I like crunchy.

In deeper parts of the food world we call this processing and it has a nasty habit of ending in cancer

then walmart's (the old 18oz jar) was hardly prepared at all. it was all nuts. it was glorious.

they recently cheapened the recipe and shrunk the jar down to 16oz, and now it's like every other crappy store brand.

Agreed. A product purporting to be "butter" should be not have chunks. It should be creamy and smooth. Crunchy is a job half done. Finally, someone who gets it.

Edit: If you like crunchy peanut spread, that's cool. But let's be real. It's not peanut butter.

If you want to keep perpetrating that a product with butter in its name should be chunky, go for it. I won't stop you, but I won't join you. I will continue to enjoy both peanut butter and chunky peanut spread.

crunchy peanut butter because otherwise your PB&J has a mushy consistency because everything is too smooth.

I wonder what the correlation of crunchy peanut butter fans and pulpy orange juice fans is. I personally love both and refuse the alternatives.
