Hey lemmyworlders, what are some cool communities that you would like to see here or that you have created (or planning to)? 👀
I want to support nascent communities and enrich my subscriptions!
Drop below your communities, already existing or even that you would like to see at some point! 👇
I'll also shamelessly promote a community that I'd love to see grow: [email protected]

Something like r/sysadmin and r/networking. A place to discuss widespread outages would be nice.
Neuropsychology and philosophy discussions. Ask-science -type groups like whatisthisbug and Geology.
Anything based on sharing meaningful discussions. As opposed to memes and song-lyric-threads.
ooh I would be down to contributing to something like neuropsychology and ask-science communities!
I'm pretty sure there's https://lemmy.world/c/sysadmin already. :)
I'd like to set up communities for my small suburban town and county. Maybe next week...
I created [email protected] for discussion about all things curly hair. Also if you haven't seen it there is [email protected] where everyone can post the new community they created.
Everytime I tap a community from newcommunities I get a crash with the Jeroba app lol.
I also use jerboa and haven't figured out why it crashes, it depends on the url the person posted. My urls I just linked open the browser, idk why x.x at least it doesn't crash
You are right, there it does not crash, but I still can't subscribe there... I don't understand why it doesn't detects my lemmy.fmhy.ml account.
It's an issue on github at least so it is being looked into.
But I wanted a discussion where people would also post communities that haven't been created yet!
Sorry I hope I wasn't de-railing.
No, no problem at all! All these comments are great.
I just created [email protected] ... which hopefully someday will be useful/amusing.
uh... how do I make a link to another community?
You have it right, just have to give it a few seconds when you start typing and you should get a drop-down list of options to pick which auto fills the link for you.
ah! that's what I was missing, the patience part of the equation! 🤣
Don't forget you can also follow communities on other instances too! If you put something like ![email protected] into your search box (it can be buggy sometimes, give it a few minutes and retry). It should also already show up if someone else did that already.
I've also just created !askbiologists [email protected] if anyone is interested!
r/Roast me. I'm doubtful that will happen here.
I loved the northernlion and nlsscirclejerk subreddits but so far I have not seen anything.
I'd love to see a Minecraft Builds type community.
