I'm loving this community. I've probably sank more hours into this Star franchise than either of the others. It's great to see it getting a little attention here on Lemmy.
Carter blows up a star, McKay blows up 4/5 of one solar system and a planet from another, nobody from Universe did anything cool like that.
I mean I guess you could argue that both Eli and Rush are to blame for the milky way planet being destroyed after they figured out how to open The gate to Destiny.
Plus they didn't have as much time to get up to galaxy-altering shenanigans...
You blow up one sun and suddenly everyone expects you to walk on water.

I agree the alliteration of Captain Carter is better though.
They missed an opportunity by going with "Samantha" and not "Katie."
