How is it possible to write something this dumb ?

Actual human beings care about others 'well being, whether they were born in a lucky place or not. So of course most of the people demonstrating had a tiny pice of plastic with the french flag on it, because we don't want our government to further persecute people whose lives are already hard enough. And lots of people targeted by this law were not protesting because they are already busy trying to survive.

Our country is becoming more and more authoritarian, our police more and more violent and our treatment of "others" more and more inhumane. This is not the world we want to live in, not the world we want our children to grow up in.

Right or wrong, you won't win anyone over with condescension and sanctimony.

I completely agree with you: I wasn't trying to win anyone over.

This was not my goal either, but thanks for the suggestion.
