How do you feel about "target opponent loses that much life" vs "it deals that much damage to target opponent"?
That being said, it's still 1 mana cheaper, and while it doesn't have the fight ability, it still kinda pushes your opponents to block because of the triggered ability.
I think losing life is generally better, as there are more damage prevention cards than ones that avoid life loss (most of which also stop damage)
