Legit thought it was using the C&H random generator.

There’s just no joke here?

PlayStation Zero is better than Diet PlayStation and it's still 0 calories (assuming you don't try to eat it...)

I still prefer PlayStation Classic, but the best is Mexican PlayStation.

I don't think the problem is simply that it's offensive. It's that it's not even funny.

35

Offensive? I wouldn't call it offensive. If I would call it anything it would be not very funny, it's at the level of fart humor I would say.

6

It's not offensive it's so watered down that it's something I'd expect from facebook boomers

This is the one that pushed me over the edge to unfollow, enjoy folks it's been real

I'm just trying to understand what this comic is trying to say. It reads to me like "non-fat people are idiots". But I am having a hard time believing that was the author's intention.

PSA to those offended. Being fat is not okay. Big Pharma would love us all to be though so we can be riddled with disease for life. Literal cash “cows”. Trim up people so we can trim down pharmas draining of our pocketbooks.

Getting an infection also isn't okay, but you don't generally make fun of someone because they have one.

Getting an infection isn’t a lifestyle choice.

Obesity is for 99.9% of instances.

That's a nice argument, Senator. Why don't you back it up with a source?

Are you legitimately suggesting that ~50% of the world has medical issues causing them to be fat?

Are you legitimately suggesting 99.9% of obese people are overweight because it's fun for them? Because that's what you just said.

13
kbin.social

No, I’m saying they lack the ability to eat less. It’s a personal failure, not a fun thing.

-10

I think we have very different definitions of what "choice" means. If you lack the ability to eat less, then you aren't choosing now are you?

What I'm suggesting is that the only food available to low-income households is high in fat and low in nutrients because that's what's cheapest to produce.

Unless you're about to suggest being poor is a lifestyle choice too I suggest you stop stuffing words in my mouth.

kbin.social

So if the only food they have is too high in calories, eat less of it?

It’s not difficult.

-8

Calories aren't the problem. Nutrition is. No doubt you've heard it said that it's important to eat a balanced diet. If you can't afford to eat anything other than McDonald's, only eating two meals a day total instead of three is not going to put more greens in your diet. It's just going to make you hungrier.

[CITATION NEEDED]

Seriously though, I don't think the latest studies on psychology back that up. I recommend anyone interested look into it. Fascinating stuff

Yeah this doesn't work at all. Being obese is 100% on the person. Anyone who doesn't want to be obese can be with effort, but it is far easier to just be obese.

-7

Those predecessors to an infection aren’t comparable to the gradual onset of obesity. I believe we should all be able to laugh, even at ourselves. This doesn’t single anyone out for ridicule.

-12

Being fat is not okay.

I'd mostly agree. People can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that being fat can increase the likelihood of all kinds of nasty things like heightened blood pressure, difficulty breathing, difficulty moving, mental health problems, and a whole lot of other things.

It's one thing to be fat, and it's another thing to not try to change that. Good thing that facts don't care about feelings.

Omegalul imagine downvoting facts.
