How does this compare to kitty/alacrity? Afaiu, these are also gpu accelerated terminals. Do they use older graphics rendering apis?

Looks interesting, but why would I want an AI powered terminal? And why do they try to assure users that all data in the warp drive is encrypted and does not record keystrokes?

@AccidentalLemming I downloaded it once and deleted it a few minutes later. I saw no value in a terminal emulator connected to the cloud. Independently of the features, it was a totally different piece of software. And a security disaster waiting to happen. I do pretty serious stuff with SSH, I'll keep it under control, thank you.

I've used this a bit - it's pretty nice, especially if you're working in a team. You can share "notebooks" (basically lists of commands and workspaces) with your teammates. But I wouldn't use it personally. The fact that it makes you register with an email gave me pause during onboarding.
