Should be, and usually is, but if you've never been in a healthy relationship you may not expect it. Especially if you've been in an unhealthy relationship.

I remember my husband-then-boyfriend being super happy he could just ask me to do stuff and I'd do it. I mean, yeah, of course, that's how relationships work?

Took me a long time to figure out that for most of his previous relationship, that really wasn't so obvious.

That's pretty much my story as well. Early into the first healthy relationship I was in, my gf stopped by my work to drop me off a donut. Just happened to be shopping nearby and thought of me.

That shit was outright mindblowing to me at the time considering I had a negative sense of self worth. Guess it still is to an extent, but I don't get the overwhelming "oh God oh fuck I don't deserve this" feeling I used to.

How do you go from husband to boyfriend without breaking up?

It's not really standard. Lots of people are terrible at giving gifts.

I met my fiancee on Hinge and Tinder. We matched on both at the same time. Hinge is probably the better one if you're looking for something serious but play the field, whatever your attention span will allow for.

Bumble is also a decent one. It has, or at least used to have? I've not used it in almost 2 years, a "unique" feature where the woman messages first. Though that usually just ends up being a "Hi" or something even less conversation-starting.

Really depends on what you're looking for, I guess.

Indeed hinge is probably good if it is used where you live. I had my luck multiple times with bumble, only met serious girls. However you attract depending on how you build your profile, and it took time to get a good one for me

When people mention wanting something or if I get an idea for a gift in general, I write it down. Now I have plenty of ideas for all the people I usually give gifts. It has made giving good gifts a lot easier.
