Damn I thought we were already screwed if it went up by just a couple degrees. If it goes up by over two thousand we're defo all dead

my guess is that people try to mark posts as read by voting, so by the time they get back to read more Lemmy posts, those "read" posts have already disappeared.
Haha yea, I've become extremely suspicious of people's voting habits based on observing that type of thing before... 🙂
