It’s staggering how out of touch Steve is. He is trying to play the martyr card with employees as minions but equally complicit. He doesn’t understand that he has branded himself as the poster boy of the had decision and pasted himself as the only bad apple in the bunch.

hindi ko alam kung indefinite out na tayo sa reddit, kung hindi talaga kailangan talaga natin patagaling yung 2 day blackout para masira yung revenue ng reddit para maitindihan nila na seryoso tayo sa decision ng lahat ng lumipat. kung indefinite talaga tayo good pero matagal ulit pagjoin ng ibang redditor sa lemmy.

Let's give him silence then, scrub and delete all of our posts, comments and replies. Not only will that be more permanent, it will also deprive Reddit of its actual product, our content.

I've already been meaning to do so before the blackout, but back then, I wasn't able to decide on how to go about it—there's already tools made for this, but I want to archive my own posts and comments beforehand, preferably while keeping the comment context. Ngayon, masaya na ako kahit na yung mismong post/comment ko na lang ang ma-archive. Right now, I'm deciding whether or not to do it right now (while a lot of the subreddits I've participated in are still in protest), or do it later. I'm leaning towards doing it soon, as an additional middle finger to the ones who've gone back to public.
