Aw I actually love Harry. He's a nice balance against the egotists that make up most of the crew. Bright, even-keeled, reliable, funny, and willing to humor people like Tom Paris who is pretty much an unrestrained toddler. Dude should've been at least a full lieutenant by the time Voyager got home.
He's got no backbone, wines a lot, and remains immature throughout the seasons. Even in his old age the only progression he seemed to make was that he was more patient. He is just a sheltered shallow person, easily as narcissistic as the other main characters, just with lower self esteem.
He's a good wingman though. I'll give him that.
But I respect your opinion. I blame the writers. They did him a lot of injustices.
The only motivation she has to return the cart is that she finished her shopping and forgot to buy six cases of a cheap off brand coffee that is on sale at the Costco she just left.
Yes, the bit would definitely be enhanced by being overt references to the events of the show, and not references to the personalities displayed by the characters.
Returns the cart and is quite pleased with herself for having completed a human social contract ritual, even though she finds it inefficient and tedious.
That cart was a friend. *Exits Room.*
Returns a few episodes later with freshly shaved and plucked eyebrows.
Ugh, I knew there was someone I was forgetting!
I was straining to think of another minor TNG character, and then I noticed - Guinan!
When I see people like that .... I usually turn around and drive to the next town
This one is accurate.
Has a personal entourage who would die to return his cart.
I can live with that.

Public domain.
I've never seen this, but it's hilarious.
Is that why she's so scrawny? Imposed childhood anorexia?
The cart returns itself, of course.
Me, upon seeing the response: Hahahaha! Man that was fast. Dude always has the perfect reply ready.
5 minutes later: tries to squint through Klingon makeup 🤔
One trip to IMDB and Memory Alpha later: ...holy shit.
The next day: I should post a reply.
Now: We're in now now.
Dude holy shit
Sorry who is that again
One of many one-shot ensigns to appear on the show, though this one (Diedrich Bader) happened to get famous.
Punctures a tire and blames the ruling liberal party of the planet
Claims he attempted to return the cart and wants praise for the effort
Best one here
I can hear the harrumph of judgement.
Returns his cart, for the 100th time. Nobody notices.
Harry should just make his own participation trophy. No one even cares enough to think about stupid boring Harry.

#JusticeForHarry
Definitely. I don't know if there's any in universe lore about it, but I always imagine that Harry got a big rank jump when they got home.

Harry gets excited when he gets one of those race car carts
Yes...harry does...and no one else....
Oooh, sorry. The one for Yar is incorrect.
"Dies walking over a strip of tar while returning the cart"
Dam Spoilers dude. The episode just aired on April 25, 1988.
Give us some time to watch it.
Sorry, my dude, I can't believe I forgot to Spoiler tag something so plot critical!
Holy shit. 1988? Man, I don't remember it being that early. I guess that explains the quality of the first couple seasons.
“Incorrect.”

Thank you so much for the note.
Yeah, respond to further humor with sarcastic asshole behavior, that's the way to grow a community.
I was responding to your “correction.”
There wasn’t any humour.
Makes you look stupid for not returning yours

Quark is why shopping carts have those wheel locks.
Tamarians have always used curbside pickup and have no idea what a cart is.
