The changes with the latest update for compact view as well as the addition to toggle system font make the field look fantastic. Memmy is really coming along nicely 👍

It looks great! Would love a toggle in the feed view for compact mode.
Yes! And saving the view per community would be great too.
It's almost there, all I'm missing is having thumbnail leading to actual linked content and optional voting buttons on the right.
It appears there's an issue with parsing links from kbin though, they're completely missing from compact posts.
I think being able to have thumbnails for more links is coming soon. There’s been a pull request for it on GitHub for 4 days.
I meant that it's kind of weird that clicking thumbnails opens an image rather a link it was pulled from.Loading thumbnails from more sources sounds great though. I would prefer for Lemmy instances to do this ultimately but I'll take what I can get.

Unless I’m having a brain fart, I think the buttons are optional now. I’m working so can’t check
I meant that you can't chose side for voting buttons, it's just on/off, unlike thumbnail which can be set to left/right.
