What a great goal, superb from Jones to be alert to the loose ball and to drag a marker out of the way, nice pass from Diaz and disciplined to resist the temptation to shoot, ditto Nunez and Salah is in the right place at the right time. Wonderful stuff.
Glad it's come early too, none of that frustration from the first half carries through now.

Such a shame that goal didn't count, but fair play to the linesman, he got it right. The VAR delay was ridiculous though. As was the delay before Salah got to take the pen.
Yeah definitely the right call. Would have been a great goal though.
Fascinating seeing those extreme single-player close-ups during the VAR checks. The VAR guy is seeing the lines there but they're hidden from us until he's fiddled around enough to get the result he wants.
