No matter what the appointment is about I have researched the topics, I will have relevant studies on hand including printouts if I know it's locked behind a paywall. 90% of cases he usually agrees with me and prescribes the treatment or drug with little hassle. He might sometimes look it up on his system and suggest something else. When I get my blood work done, I research the results extensively. I've made mistakes here and there, and those tiny mistakes where I've misunderstood a reading or said something where he had to correct me send me into a depression. I'm not a doctor, I dont have the experience, but getting things wrong is an affront to my brain that has to understand everything. It's exhausting
