I'm not blaming the refs. This was a woeful Arsenal performance. There is no way a team that can't break down a low block will win the league title, in this day and age. Zinchenko has been a liability. There were multiple TERRIBLE back passes that he made. ESR, Reiss and Nketiah offered barely anything off the bench. Odegaard, Jesus, and Saka were tired but showed more attacking impetus. Martinelli has hit a bad patch and I think being on the bench might help him. 80% of his issues are his own and 20% with the lack of link up play from Zinchenko. There is a lot to fix before I can enthusiastically say we are favorites for the title.

@Astrealix @coygsu he was OK today but didn’t do enough. It was an overall bad performance across the board. Actually I think Saliba and Gabriel were good as usual.

Yeah, I just haven't seen anything more than OK from Trossard basically after the Shield lol

Think we just have to accept also that the league's tougher this year. Basically everyone's upgraded (except maybe Sheffield United), so the gap is just closer, especially given the injuries

Because refereeing in England is broken and no one has any interest in fixing it

@sensiblepuffin @ironeaglebird I'm fine with the decision, as they couldn't see whether it was over.

What amazes me is that they couldn't see whether it was over. You'd think goal-line technology would be useful beyond the confines of the goal.

Yeah, same; though I've seen enough screenshots to show that even from that angle if you actually picked the right frame it's quite clear and obvious imo, so I do have some gripe with that too honestly, but not as much as the technological problem.

You reached the end
