To be fully on theme, I should have used Tabac in the jar, but this is close enough. With the #TabacTuesdays and #TabOktoberfest, this is my most used soap scent of 2023. I never thought of it as my favourite, but by Onion's definition, it is.
Impatience got the better of me and I binned the vintage Schick blade after 7 uses. I was just itching to use the repeater mechanism with its satisfying clack-clack sound, loading a new blade, ejecting the old.
I intended to shave this morning but had to skip that and get in an afternoon shave. I was thinking about my afternoon schedule but KoO and this Parker razor are so good I was forced to pay attention to how great this shave was.
Post Shave: Thayer's Aloe Vera toner; Natura Siberica ASB gel
Fragrance: Tom Ford - Ombre Leather EdP
Almost forgot to log this shave in all the trouble...
1-pass head shave, very comfortable and warm scents all around. No nicks or any irritation whatsoever. I needed some comfort scents to keep my feelings somehow balanced...
Today I had my final late shift at the old nursing home. It was a very emotional day for me... For 5 years, this was my place of work. First as an OT, now during the retraining to become an RN. I had a lot of good times there, but lately a lot has turned to shit so quitting is the right thing to do. I will miss my favourite colleagues very much; but at least I will keep them as friends and remember the good things we had together.
Heather is my new "travel post shave", at least until I get tired of it... so you'll likely see it paired with just about anything 🫠. It'll stay in my suitcase, while soaps get rotated out.
Lather: Stirling Soap Co. - Weekend in Malibu - Soap
Post Shave: Southern Witchcrafts - Incorporeal - Aftershave (Alcohol Free)
I don't think that I've gone this long without shaving since I started shaving traditionally. The Aylsworth took care of four days of growth like it was nothing.

Great shave. This scent is still a bit off putting but it has grown on me. The initial surprise mellows out pretty quick and it gets more pleasant.

Really nice combo. Might steal it soon.

I see! I'll keep my eyes peeled for intriguing combinations

Rating: 4/5
Yeah, I've missed one day in the last 2½ years. Feels weird to have that much growth, but I bet that was a really close shave.

Last time I did this was as a participant in the 2021 Atlas Shaves Challenge. I didn't enjoy it😅
This is why I avoid Atlas Shaves 😆
Yeah, I hear you😅
A lesson was learned that year
