Some long distance dude said "I Love you" to me when I was 14 and he was 16. I said "I Love you too" meaning like, as a person, he was fun to talk to and all.. "Really?" with this 'I caant believe it' tone.

I paniced and just said "yeah". Queue two years of emotional abuse and the introduction of my schizophrenia (can be brought on by trauma) that I still deal with over fifteen years later. Sometimes now I have to text my friend and tell him "tell me it's okay to get off the bed" because I'm so frightened of something taking a swipe at my legs. I have other symptoms but this one is the dumbest in my opinion.
