I really think that it takes more than just a few movies you see as a child to influence your path in life.. if it really had that much impact I'm pretty sure I'd be running around with a gun shooting people as a vigilante at this point considering I watched tons of action movies when I was young.

I think their problem is TRYING to over correct because they were getting so much backlash about all their princesses needing men, not standing alone, etc. I think a mixture of both is necessary, as much as I don't care for Frozen, Anna and Elsa are really good example of this, one individual and one more traditional, but both big on family values.
