Possibly something to do with the demographic using Spotify in India being mainly English educated middle and upper middle class. Most of us read Hindi written in the English script (hinglish) way faster ironically.

Probably even more relevant then. How many Indians roaming in the Uk would want to be reading the lyrics in Hindi script?
