Wow why would you even say that (not that you are wrong)

Had such an awkward convo at the gym today

I was going to this girl who was my age at the gym. She told me she was waiting for her husband to pick her up. I was kind of caught off guard when I realised she was married so without thinking twice I asked her if she lived with her husband 😭😭😭

I recall a similar incident that happened to me. A women told me she is a doctor and then I later found out she was a dentist. So during conversation I casually asked her "Are you really a doctor? Dentists don't have an mbbs right?". Needless to say, she was preety angry.

And I kind of regret saying it now. But I really did not mean to hurt her feelings.
